Because of the complexity of our analysis of the current situation, we operate in a variety of distinct but
interrelated organizational modalities.
We are an institute of perfection the members of which commit themselves to excel in a distinctive way of
being human, integrating a dialectical ascent to first principles, active engagement in the struggle for justice,
and an open ended and pluralistic engagement with the higher disciplines of humanity's diverse spiritual
traditions.
We are a political-theological organization which analyzes the socireligious terrain we confront and engages
individuals and institutions over the longue duree of lifetimes, centuries, and millennia, with the aim of guiding
the human civilizational project in a way that promotes enlightenment and ripens being. In the process we
engage and or build local religious communities, research and educational institutions, political organizations,
civic, labor, and community organizations, and economic enterprises (especially cooperatives), among other
forms.
We are sacred and popular endowment which aims at organizing the material resources needed to sustain
this work over many generations in a way that allows it to remain faithful to its sacred calling and which makes
participation in its work open to humanity's most dedicated and capable individuals, irrespective of the economic
resources they bring to the table.
